A formidable toast to Charles Dickens’ 200th birthday in true Dickensian-style at the ECC Chinatown

There will also be the chance to sip on “Medwin” – a 19th Century tipple of gin and warm water.

Expect a cosy, relaxed atmosphere with the bar team wearing Dickensian attire.

If you’re feeling a bit peckish, snack on roasted chestnuts from the “Chestnut Shop” just outside ECC and special savory pies from “Goddard’s Pies”, a truly British pie maker established since 1890.

To complete the Dickensian feel, you will be surrounded in vintage books.

The music will be especially designed for this marvelous occasion with a live band on Tuesday night. DJ’s are planned for Wednesday and Thursday.
