Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin {pronounced o-peer} is launching its first mobile bar in the UK in the form of the Opihr Tuk Tuk, inspired by the exotic design and colours on the Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin bottle. The Tuk Tuk is being introduced to consumers at Festivals across the UK and will travel to events and tastings at Off and On-trade venues throughout the year.
Well known in the Orient as a form of transport, the Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin Tuk Tuk was imported from India and re-designed to include a bespoke cocktail bar. The famous Spanish artist, Andi Rivas, has decorated the Opihr Tuk Tuk by hand in the bright colours of the Opihr livery, which he restyled for the design of the Tuk Tuk.
Mobile cocktail bar experts, Bitter Twisted, have organised a sampling campaign which launches this week, bringing the experience of the exotic premium gin to aficionados in the UK. Consumers will be able to enjoy a wide variety of drinks and cocktails, including Opihr Gin & Tonic with fresh ginger and Opihr & Ginger Ale.
The Opihr Tuk Tuk will visit Festivals and Foodies events as a showcase for the Oriental Spiced gin, which takes its inspiration and flavours from the Ancient Spice Route. Freddie Kampman, International Brand Manager at Quintessential Brands, owners of Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin, comments: “We are really excited to be taking our Tuk Tuk around the UK and look forward to introducing our exciting new style of gin at a whole range of venues and events. With dynamic growth, both in the UK and in Europe, and listings in Waitrose, Harvey Nichols, over 120 Mitchells & Butlers Country Dining pubs, as well as All Bar Ones and Barworks sites in the UK, momentum is building for Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin, which fills a gap in the market for a quality spiced gin.”
Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin: RRP £23.00 for 70cl. ABV 40%
