Fast growing premium British real craft gin brand, Warner Edwards, has landed two important listings that will increase sales and widen awareness of the Northamptonshire farm based company.
Warner Edwards Elderflower Infused Gin will be on shelf from October in 199 Marks & Spencer stores as the retailer develops its spirits offering and capitalises on the popularity of gin and cocktails. Made with pure natural spring water and home grown elderflowers, the Warner Edwards range and the Elderflower style in particular stood out to Marks & Spencer who commented:
“We tasted Warner Edwards gin as part of an extensive piece of research on the gin category. This category is growing from strength to strength and we felt we could do more to represent the new and interesting gin styles emerging in the UK. Warner Edwards stood out to us as a top quality option. The flavour profiles are so natural and well balanced, plus they have such fantastic British themed flavours like Elderflower and Rhubarb. We’re proud to be bringing the Elderflower Gin to our stores; it is a favourite flavour with our customers so I’m sure it will be a great success.”
In addition, Warner Edwards top selling Harrington Dry Gin and Victoria’s Rhubarb Gin, made with high quality locally sourced rhubarb, will be stocked across all Booths premium supermarket outlets. Both gins will be available from October 2015.
Warner Edwards co-founder, Tom Warner, says: “This is great news for our brand and for Marks & Spencer and Booths shoppers. The two varieties add a new dimension to the premium gin category and provide consumers with the chance to enjoy them as a serve or in a cocktail. We are extremely proud of their outstanding flavour profiles which are a result of exceptional quality ingredients and small batch production methods.
“We will be supporting both listings with in-store tastings and point of purchase promotional activity to drive awareness and sales of Warner Edwards premium gins.”
The multi award-winning Warner Edwards premium gin brand was set up in 2012 by Harper Adams Agricultural College mates Tom Warner and Sion Edwards. Warner Edwards is widely available from independent drinks retailers and a selection of on-trade outlets. The founders are passionate about the craft behind their brand and travel the country to spread the word about their real craft gin production methods.
“This is a really exciting time for the Warner Edwards brand,” adds Tom Warner. “We are attracting the attention of the trade with our genuine craft gin proposition. Our ambition is to give the British gin drinker the chance to buy our Harrington Dry, Elderflower, Rhubarb or Sloe gins and enjoy the complex and outstanding flavours of our lovingly produced gin.”
Warner Edwards distillation process takes around seven hours and all the ingredients including spring water from the farm, 11 botanicals and the finest grain spirit are measured out and mixed into the still called Curiosity. Warner Edwards Elderflower Gin is infused with fresh elderflowers harvested from the company’s Harrington farms and Warner Edwards Rhubarb Gin uses rhubarb from Queen Victoria rhubarb grown on Crown Estate land.
Hello great website! Does running a blog like this take a great deal of work? I have virtually no expertise in coding however I was hoping to start my own blog soon. Anyways, if you have any suggestions or tips for new blog owners please share. I know this is off subject however I simply wanted to ask. Kudos!
